Q:  What are your business hours?
A:  We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 22 Union Street in Rochester NH.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment for an oil change or inspection?
A: Yes, we prefer that you do, although sometimes we are able to
accommodate walk-ins. We also offer four time slots per day for people
to wait while their oil change or inspection is being done.
Currently the time slots are 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 am and 2:00 pm.

Q: What about alignments? Do I need an appointment?
A: Yes, alignments do require an appointment.
We currently offer one "wait" appointment at 9:00 am; otherwise,
please plan on leaving your vehicle off for the day.

Q: Can I schedule my appointment online?
A: Absolutely! Click here to go to our appointment request page.
Please note that this is a request for an appointment, and you will receive
an e-mail either confirming the appointment, or letting you know that
the day/time is not available and offering other options.

Q: Can I drop off or pick up my car before you open or after you close?
A: You sure can; we have a key drop located on the front of our business,
to the left of the office. Envelopes and pens are always there for your convenience,
and you may pay over the phone with your credit card and give us instructions for
your keys if you need to pick your vehicle up after hours.
 

Q: Will you call me before doing repairs on my car?
A: Hervey's Tire believes in an "estimate-and-authorize-first" policy,
which means that you have complete control over the repairs that are done
on your vehicle. We will never perform any repairs without first having
authorization from you.


Q: Why don't you take appointments for tire work?

A: We have always taken tire work as it comes in, on a first-come-first-serve
basis for the convenience of our customers. We have personnel dedicated to
just tire work, so it moves along pretty well. Please note that the only time that
is not good to come in for tire work is between 12:00 noon and 1:30pm.


Q: Are your mechanics ASE Certified?

A: Yes, our technicians are encouraged to be ASE certified.


Q: Is there an owner available there for me to talk to?
A: Yes, the owners, Steve and Al Hervey run the shop and are there every day.
 

Q: Why don't you show tire prices on your site?
A:  Simply put, there are just so many different makes and models of tires,
which are constantly changing, not to mention constantly fluctuating prices;
 it would be a full-time job for us to maintain that on our site. We're a small,
 family owned and operated single location business, but what we can offer is a
knowledgeable, friendly person to assist you when you give us a call or e-mail us.
